Here at GA Livestock services we focus on small holdings all around the Yorkshire area . Whether you have 2 sheep or 20 , we are there for all your needs and really do pay attention to the finer details . Gracie doesn't manhandle your sheep and cause distress , we take time and respect the animal in front of us . We reassure the owner about any concerns or quieries they have about their flock and solve any problems that we could face .
Hoof trimming is usually included in the shearing service , however most of the time it is something we do for goats and sheep all year round . We specialise in correctional trimming and treat any hoof issues like foot rot etc
Sheep Scanning
A rural small‑holding sheep scanner is a trained technician who visits farms—usually around 70–90 days after mating—to use ultrasound to check ewes for pregnancy and count lambs. This quick service helps farmers group their ewes by litter size, adjust feeding and housing plans, identify empty ewes early, and improve lamb survival and overall flock efficiency
